In 1986, Angelina Velez realized her dream of sharing her family's time-honored Tex-Mex recipes when she opened her first Mexican restaurant in the Colony. Located in the Eastville section, that restaurant only sat up to 40 people, but as Angelina's delicious cuisine and laid-back family atmosphere became increasingly popular, a larger location became necessary. For most of the 1990's Angelina's was located on S. Colony Blvd, and then in 1999 it moved to its current location on Main Street overlooking Lewisville Lake. The hacienda-style decor and scenic lakeside views provide the ideal setting for anyone to enjoy the finest authentic Tex-Mex food in the Dallas area.
